What are Clear Aligners?

Clear aligners are a type of orthodontic treatment that uses custom-made, removable trays to gradually move teeth into their ideal alignment. We utilize state-of-the-art 3D photo imaging technology to take a 3D image of your teeth and your bite. This is then imported into special software that allows Dr. Pompei to prescribe and plan your tooth movement.

Dr. Pompei may recommend attachments, or tooth-colored composite anchors, which ensure that force is applied to the correct parts of your teeth. Attachments simply add an extra layer of effectiveness to your treatment, but are not always necessary or required.

They can treat any malalignment issue that traditional metal braces can treat, including overbite, underbite and crossbite.

Clear aligners offer several benefits that traditional metal braces do not:

  • The aligners are removable. You can still eat all of your favorite foods and play your favorite sports. You can remove your aligners temporarily for prom photos or an important business meeting. What we Offer
